Help! Need advice to set up my controller A.S.A.P

Well lads,

Recently bought a Numark OmniController, this one here:

I have downloaded this driver:

I have tried setting this up by using "troubleshoot compatibility" but i've still had no luck, it keeps saying the device isn't installed. I'm using windows 7 by the way. Does anybody have any idea how to go about it? I really want to get going as soon as I can!

Troubleshoot compatibility? It should work straight off the bat, I've had no problems with any of the drivers for my Omni Control.

What I would suggest is to fully uninstall the controller (through Device Manager), disable UAC and run the setup program. Make sure you have you Omni Control unplugged before you start, otherwise you'll cock it up.

Did you connect before installing? I have a feeling the TC required it only to be connected when prompted.
