For some reason I can't see Images that have been posted or You Tube clips that have been embedded, just a white square? Any ideas what it could be?

That sounds like it could be a number of things:

1: The settings on your browser.

2: Blocked by software on your pc/laptop (e.g. security software)

3: Proxy server - if you are accessing the web at work or at college

When did it start happening? Did something change?

    Have you tried another browser?

Its my home computer, not a work filter or anything.

Just started there a couple of days ago. I've tried viewing in Firefox and in Internet Explorer an its the same white square in both.

So it must be software blocking it right?

Simple lesson - always download add-ons when Firefox prompt you.

Finally got this fixed by simply getting an add on that I had been ignoring.

That after days on un-installing and installing the latest Flash player, messing with my anti-virus and general frustration.

Just thought I'd share in case it happens anyone else. Do what you computer says kids - it knows best.:pac:
