    Hi all,

I've just ported to meteor from O2. I'm trying (in vain...) to get the internet to work-I have a data package. I've read a few threads on it but have had no success. If someone could please fill in the following for me and tell me if thats what I need I would be so grateful!! Suffering withdrawal symtoms from my iphone use :) I'm also assuming that
    settings>general>network>cellular data network
is the only place I need to go to set it up

I've filled in anything I've found but so far its not working so please edit it if its wrong? I don't think I need the tethering stuff.

    cellular data
    APN: data.mymetor.ie
    Username: my
    Password: meteor

    MMS
    APN: mms.mymeteor.ie
    Username: my
    Password: mms
    MMSC:
    MMS Proxy:
    MMs Max message size:
    MMS UA Prof URL:

    Internet tethering
    APN:

Tethering settings are the same as Cellular Data, so:

    Apn: Data.mymeteor.ie
    User: My
    Password: Meteor

& if your 3gs is jailbroken all the meteor settings including a nice carrier logo can be downloaded and installed from cydia

Belated thank you to all. Turns out the thing deletes the settings everytime I update so I'll be perusing this thread again :)

it happens me all the time!
when you have them filled in take 2 screen shots that will store in your photo album.

the first screen shot will show the top half of the page with the APN settings and the second screen shot will get the bottom half and show the MMS settings.
