Hi my car is due the NCT at ten tomorrow morning. I had to get the lights focused today&got a bulb replaced.
On the dash board there is an orange coloured warning light saying there is a bulb blown but every single bulb and light in the car is working.
Its a 02 punto and have no idea what to even look for to try get the warning light off. The local garage up by me has no computer to hook it up to to see what it is. Does anyone here have any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

Just tell them that you got it replaced, most cars do that when you fix it.

They'll check all the lights anyways so if they work they'll pass you.

I thought that they are checking for all warning lights on the dash board now? Are you sure they will pass it with the warning light on even though all the bulbs are working?

Before you start to worry, just go through NCT manual.
It says clearly what warning lights are checked.
Ensure the malfunction indicators for Airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Electronic Braking System (EBS) / Anti-Lock
Braking System (ABS) are in working order.

BTW. How does the broken bulb indicator in 02 Punto looks like.
I don't remember anything like this. Are you sure it's not something else?

    Hi,
    Which bulb was replaced?
If it is one of the back ones just take it off and clean the contacts as it may just be a bad connection.

You have a wrong bulb in one of your rear parking lights one of them is probably brighter than the other.

You need a ten watt bulb instead of the more common five watt that was probably fitted.

ya they are all the correct bulbs.replaced the bulb over the reg plate. Well advance pitstop did. My mechanic said to bring the car up this morning to focus the lights but when the girlfriend collected the car he said the place he does it on was closed so had no option but to get advance pitstop to do it for me
