    I'm thinking of taking a spin down there tomorrow (Sunday).
    Anybody know whats down there and how friendly are the natives?
    Will they let me stroll around and take a few pics if I ask nicely?

    Tbh, I've not really seen anything ever down there, could be just unfortunate though, should there be anything though, youll have no problem photographing it. The grass runway is parallel with the train track and only has a short fence bordering it off. Standing on the beach/train track you'll see straight in. Duno about getting inside though, cant imagine it would be a huge issue with them though.

    Excellent little airfield, flown in there a few times, it's incredibly well kept and John Nugent is a gent to deal with.

    Sounds good as I live in Wicklow. What kind of aircraft do they have? any idea if rates?
