    If that's the height of your present stresses in life, count yourself lucky.

    I've never come across anybody saying IIRC in here!

    What I wonder about is whether IMHO stands for "in my honest opinion" or "in my humble opinion". Or does it stand for the national anthem. Who knows???

    I'd imagine 'imo' is pretty popular because people are posting on threads where they are asked to give their opinion... and typing three letters is faster than typing eleven. I use it all the time! Never 'iirc' though.

    imo = In my opinion.

    iirc = If I remember correctly.

    They're both basically get out clauses for people so others can't go "WRONG! WHAT YOU SAID IS WRONG!"

    People admit at the start that they're stating their opinion on something, and not presenting facts. And with iirc it's to say you're not completely sure of what you're about to say. Just so feckers can't rip you to pieces in the next post!
