I'm not in Galway myself, but you'll need to be a bit more specific mate.
    Galway's a big enough area.
A perfect connection in one side won't mean the same in the other.

Can you narrow it down for prospective posters?

No it's seperated into different Nodes.
There'd be a few in Galway alone, as well as in Limerick, Cork, Dublin etc.
If there's an issue on one, then the others could all be fine.

With Cable Broadband there are a few things that can cause problems.
Lots of reports in here from certain areas in Dublin for instance.
With me in Limerick everything seems grand, but that doesn't mean people don't have individual problems.

Best thing to do is find out if the general area is good.
Then ask a few neighbours if you know any.

If the area is good and you get installed the only thing that could cause a aproblem for you would be the internal or drop cables, so worst case scenareo you could have a bad connection for the first few weeks.

Mostly the new laid cable are grand except for a few areas in Dublin from what I can see.

Thanks. Im probably gona upgrade to the 30 package soon. Should be better than my current. I get 7-8 down and .25-.30 up so it should be better than that.

If it's working properly, you'll effectively get 30MB down and 3MB up constantly.

    If.
