Stenaline Luggage Question

Hi! I'm new to travelling via ferry, so I have a question about luggage. I'm a foot passenger on stenaline, Dublin to Holyhead. I know the luggage allowance, but I'm curious where they put the luggage. I'm moving to London, and whilst most of my items will be brought over by my in-laws, it's a month down the road at least as they are in their busy season. I'm wanting to bring certain things with me, like my monitor, and I'm not sure how luggage is handled. If it's handled like it is on the plane, then I'm better off leaving it behind, but if not, I was wondering if it would be safe to bring larger electronics that are packed up good!

    Any ideas? Thanks!
