Have used two times to supply parts. Wrong stuff supplied both times and the returns costs are a bit serious. Anybody else have a run in with their customer care folk?

Ive only heard good things about them to be honest. Are charging you restocking on the returns or do you mean postage?
Are you sure you specified the exact right part?

Ordered a set of clear Osram indicator bulbs last week, pricey enough set. Got sent a single amber indicator bulb wrapped in bubblewrap?

In fairness they're sending out the correct ones now, but how the hell could that happen?

Indeed maybe the previous order was for that and the packer mixed the two up or something

I've ordered off them 2 or 3 times, no issues and got stuff within the week.

I've used them plenty of times, never an issue ever.

In fact, I remember being very impressed with them once, as I ordered a handbrake cable for a BMW 318is from them online, and they rang me to make sure that I specifically only wanted one.

Parts have always arrived with me quickly, and well packaged. Granted, they're not highly specialised for any particularly car, but for general parts/servicing/popular cars, I can't really think of any better online service.

I've no experience with micksgarage, but with regards to wrong parts arriving, mistakes happen. All you can ask of them is that they deal with them promptly. And sometimes it can be tricky identifying the right part for some cars. Though I would have thought returning wrong parts should be at their expense, not yours.

I did use them quite a lot, only had one tiny delivery issue which was resolved quickly.
However, my main dealer's parts prices have now come down to within a whisker of micksgarage and I'm getting genuine parts instead of spurious.

Quinten Hazell seem to be the main supplier to micksgarage of bushes, shocks, brakes, clutches etc and they don't have a great reputation in the trade. The parts will do the job but you'll be changing them again next year.

Don't think they came out of it covered in glory.

Sold the wrong model foglight for an Accord...when ordering the part, asked once again that it was definitely the one for the particular year/model Accord, was reassured and told yes absolutely. Part arrived, opened up the box, wrong type. Wouldn't take it back as it was out of the box. Would only give a credit note. Poor customer service. Wont be using them again or recommending for that matter.
