Very good question - did some searching last night and the cheapest was approx £5 (GBP) per month

3 do their insurance with fonesure.com (or something like that).
Went directly to them and they have a specifc iPhone plan.

No idea if Irish users can avail of it directly from them, don't see why not.

As far as I know, the cheapest way to go is get it under your home contents cover.
But then I have no idea whether there are any catches with this - like if you lost it or broke it outside of your home.

Would be interested to know if people have experience with iPhone insurance outside of CPW and the operators.

its automatically covered under my house insurance under the unspecified all risk item, as long at the item is under 1300e in value, which it is but theres an excess of €200.

to add it at renewal time for the year its approx 15-20e and the excess is only €75.

house is insured with AIG btw.
