    I having been unemployed for over a year and I am not entitled to JSA or JSB.

    Should I keep signing on and why - does it effect my pension ?

    Yes you should keep signing on for credits. It could affect your pension if you are out of employment for a considerable period of time. My dh is signing for credits at the moment and is only required to sign on once every six months.

    Hell Yea!
    It may seem like a waste of time now but you are signing on for your pension credits. Unless you plan on winning the Spanish lottery soon and have no need for the pension......

    They dont pay anything when signing on for credits only. It is a way of securing your pension if you arent entitled to jobseekers benefit or allowance but are still looking for work.
