The bill has been passed but the personal import ban is not yet being enforced, if the device is under a joule you can still import it

just out of curiosity..what's the chances you'll get nabbed for taxes etc if you imported a pistol or AEG from ehobby?

Hasn't it been about 6 months since the bill was passed? It's starting to look like its been forgotten about?

A year. it will happen, Airsoft is staying off the public radar (despite some retailers attempts at social hari kari) so they have no urgency to restrict us.

Had to shell out 23 euro a week or so ago for duty on a small package from china (contents unrelated to airsoft).
EVERYTHING is being checked, i wouldn't bother trying to import an AEG as it will be stopped and sent to have a ballistics report done and if its over the limit you're gonna lose it.
There are plenty of retailers around who will either have it for you or order it in for you.
Emails are cheap and cheerful mate.
