    The Asylum specialise in absolute cack. They make absoloutely dire rip offs of recently released films (The Day the Earth Stopped, Alien vs Hunter, Snakes on a Train, etc) and also make films they know appeal to the 'so bad it's good' crowd (Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus anyone?).
    In short, their films are aimed at student, stoner types that just want to laugh at the awfullness of it all. In saying that, I can't wait for Titanic 2!!!

    ^ they got alot of publicity with that giant octopus vs. megashark crap. They are really dreadful....but they know it, budget under $1 million which they recoup in a few months, apparently Sy-Fy have commisioned them to make cheesy Saturday afternoon tv movies.
