I'm looking for a GOOD bodyshop preferably in the West who would strip the exterior of a car, deal with some surface rust and put everything back together properly.
There are a couple pretty close to me that I have used before but I wouldn't go use them again.

    Hi Quattro,

I have my mustang at a really good body shop based in Oranmore.
The guys name is Jason Forester.
    Mobile is 087 6664811.

He is fully stripping my car back and making some changes to the body work (undoing "upgrades" that the previous owner thought would make it look good), dealing with some rust that was under fibreglass and filler, sorting out the rust in the boot and fully respraying it, including the engine bay.

If you want an example of his work then ask to see his own car.
I couldn't help be impressed when I saw it.

    Hope this info helps

We can do both your cars proper job fully photographed etc & dont go to the uk cos all they do is mot standard work ie plate over rust isopon & shutz we do the opposite cut rust out until we get good steel & then make or buy if avaliable new repair sections & weld new zintech steel in properly, slow process but worth it, up to you lads & we ONLY work on classics!

    Quattro,
I would also reccommend Jason Forestor in Oranmore.
I have my integrale evo2 with him at the moment for rust repair and full respray, He cut out the rust and welded in new metal, not a quick bodge job like other places would do, I have dropped in reqularly to see how the work is progressing and how things were being done, In fact Jason likes you to call by as he is proud of his workmanship and likes to show it to you. I have been more than impressed to date with what he has done so far, Without asking he has taken pictures all the way through the work to document what/how thing were done so I would have a photo diary of the the work. He's fussy which is good, as soesamh1980 has said all you have to do is look at his own RX3 to see the quality of his work

That a nice Mustang you have, Would like to see it when Jason has it finished!!!
