Hey guys. I have a Kia Sportage and someone stole my stereo a while back and did some damage to the centre console around the stereo (as on pic) I am looking to put a stereo back into the car now (Pioneer avic-x1) but the console will still look sh1t so I was looking to put some kind of double din surround around the entire stereo as I instill it so the plastic of the double din surround covers the scratches and damage. Anyone know where I can get such a thing or would I have to get something made?

    Any ideas welcome...

Maybe you could try getting a replacement for the whole silver piece. I'm not familiar with the dash in question so I'm not too sure about how difficult it would be to change. It may be worth giving Traynors up north a call. They have most parts at a reasonable price and do a delivery service as well. Not too sure of the number but give the name a google.

If your in Dublin, call into Sound Decision in Clondalkin. Ask for Carl. I use them for all my ICE stuff, phone kits, and general electric gizmo's I need. They should have a Double Din surround which will fit.

Thanks for the replies all. No go with the Traynor guys. Not in stock. I came across a Hyundai Tuscon for breaking i wonder if that console would fit?

Does anyone know if you can get like a carbon fibre sticky shet that I could cut to cover the centre console or something or any other suggestions?

    Cheers,

I know Richbrook recently brought out a carbon fiber look sticky sheet. It's meant to be decent enough with a good carbon fiber effect look and a good adhesive on the back. Their accessories are available in loads of places but you should be able to order off the website as well - http://www.richbrook.co.uk/

Just take your time putting it on!
