    Hi folks,

    I have an Anschutz 520 .22 semi.
Anyone have any ideas on which rounds give the best results?
Being a semi it's probably not the most accurate of guns but I would be interested in any feed back from any other owners out there.

Prob best to see what your rifle functions best with and then see whats most accurate. What i mean is most semi autos .22s once they start to foul wont cycle that well with the lower velocity target rounds, so maybe compromise and use a higher velocity round that will function well and still give reasonable accuracy. The only real way ur goin to find out though is to test few different brands.

    Cheers for the reply.

I will check out what my local guy has and spend a day with a few rounds of each and my cleaning kit.

    Cheers

You cant go wrong with Anschutz, semi or BA.

    Thanks again folks.

Just to let ye know how I got on.
I tried a few different high velocity rounds and the results were class but since I'm into dropping bunnies with subs and a silencer, I concentrated on the subsonic rounds in relation to accuracy and cycling of the bolt.
The CCI subs were fine, the RWS subs were jamming maybe 1 of every 30 rounds, but the best were the cheap little Remington subsonics.
The Anshutz semi will cycle these little guys all day and give groups of around 1" at 80 yards!! not bad for a semi?

    Thanks again folks

PS If you know anythink about Armas Garbi shotguns could ye reply to my thread on that also? :D

Lapua Super Club worked in my Anschutz sporter, give 'em a try.
