So I reckon it would be a good idea if Dublin seceded from the rest of Ireland. Think about it - we would not have to put up with gombeen politicians from culchie land which have destroyed this country. Sure there is the odd example of the disease infiltrating civilisation - Bertie Ahern for example. The more sophisticated Dublin electorate will give Fianna Fáil the hiding it deserves at the next election - there won't be a single Fianna Fáil TD in the Dublin area after this election - im 100% convinced. Down the country 25% are still going to vote for Fianna Fáil despite what they have done to conive in bringing the country to it's knees. It does not matter that the country folk's children will probrably have to emigrate - for them it's about what the local gob****e representative did for them using the good old Parish Pump. You won't see a Flynn or a Lowry elected here - why should that be inflicted on Dublin? The sight of the Healy-Reas of this world are enough to convince me we should abandon all other counties with the exception of maybe annexing South Meath, East Kildare and North Wicklow. And maybe build a wall too.

I think it is more workable then decentralisation personally.

Also, get over yourself. "The more sophisticated Dublin electorate"? Obvious troll is obvious.
