I have an iPhone 3GS with o2. Was looking at the price plans on 3 for the iPhone 4 and they were very appealing. I love the new iPhone deisgn and I really want it! :D

Need some expert advice though.Recently I've been reading that the new iPhone has loads of faults (signal issues etc) and Apple were close to a recall? So should I wait it out and get the iPhone 4 in a few months when the updated model is released and the faults have been sprted out. Or just jump and get it on July 30th?!

Have a 3Gs and compared it physically with my friends Iphone 4. I am not changing as there is nothing really new in the 4 model that justifies the cost in buying the new phone. It has a few nicer curves, a bit more powerful, a better screen, a slightly better battery (???) and you can video call (only to other iphones on WIFI). Who does or wants to do that?

Will wait for the iPhone 5

Well if you do jump on the 30th for it you better jump quick! There are very small amounts of the device available in the shops. The shop I'm working in is getting 10 tomorrow.

I've heard about the signal issues and supposedly some guys ear got burned with one too...(internet is it to be trusted?) Personally I think the I phone 4 is a very rushed affair. It's main differences are multi tasking and a stronger screen. It's trying to compete with the smart phones now out on the market that are doing the job that the I phone is failing to do for some customers.

Samsung did something great that is building their customer loyalty because of the I phone....They went on twitter to find every tweeter that was dissatisfied with their I phone 4 and offered them a Galaxy S for free....Which I think is pretty cool.

I much prefer Android phones myself!

Samsungs actions were most likely a publicity stunt, as they were given to reporters.

Ah yeah, given they are reporters they are gonna get a good write up.

But if your I phone was acting the maggot and you got a free smart phone from samsung I think you'd be shouting it from the roof tops too!:D

Yes, and that's why they gave them to marketing people and not ordinary people...

OK, I am no fanboy but I have had every single iPhone to date.

There is an antenna issue, but mainly it's an AT&T problem, I have had no dropped calls on Vodafone, and when I use the "death grip" its doesn't lose a bar.

The iPhone 4 is lovely and when its jailbroken its going to be even better. The screen is crisp, the sound is perfect. The camera is amazing. The flash is so bright. facetime is fun.

I am definitely not saying the iPhone is perfect, but when its jailbroken is will be without a doubt the best phone on the market.

Anyone care to prove me wrong?

No offense to anyone else, but android has one massive flaw, it sucks for virtual keyboard. There is no auto correct, so it slows me down to snail's pace when typing.

Oh, if you do have any antenna issues, just get your free case from apple. problem solved.

Smasung only gave out a few Galaxy S's to people working in marketing and other high end positions as a PR stunt.

Not to every Joe Soap that said I hate iP4 give me a free galaxy S.;)
