BBC 3 Programs

i've only just really discovered what a gem of a channel bbc 3 is. normally i'd only watch it if there was a film or American Dad on but i've started watching some of the other programs on it and i have to say that i'm really impressed with them.

they're not the sort of shows i'd normally go for (me preferring sci-fi shows) but i was pleasantly surprised by them. i've just finished watching a show about a teenage girl who's a dwarf (not sure if that's the proper term :o) and the life she leads with her mum (who is also short).
when i saw it on the EPG, i thought "ah jaysus, another reality show" but i was mistaken. it wasn't one of those shíte reality shows that the people in it do a lot of acting up for it. it was genuinely real.
a week ago, i was watching another show about being underage and pregnant, and i thought the same thing before watching it, "it's going to be just that shíte MTV program" but some of the girls in it were really mature. one 14-year girl lost her boyfriend (the father of her child) in a road accident, and the program showed her struggle as she went through her pregnancy. she even set up a charity in his name.

i'm amazed at this. i would thought that it would all be scripted reality shít but i'm starting to enjoy bbc 3 programs now. :) anyone else enjoying it?

BBC 3 is the channel that introduced me to "The Flight of the Conchords". I can't thank it more for that! :D

I'd also like to thank the BBC for giving us the fantastic 'Being Human'!

And am pretty sure 'Little Britain', 'The Mighty Boosh' and 'Gavin & Stacey' all started on BBC3? You'd be suprised how much good stuff they've done over the years.. but they also do a helluva lot of crap.

That 'Lee Nelsons Well Good Show' is f*cking dreadful!

    It did indeed..

.. it's only ever been on BBC3 (as opposed to the other three mentioned which started on BBC3 but have been on BBC1 / BBC2 in their prime).
