Following on from another thread I'm looking to replace the screen on DHs laptop but I don't know if its a 17" or 17.3" so don't know what to order (a friend says he can fit the screen no problem if I get one).
Its a Toshiba Sattelite L350 (or L350D .. not sure which as the manual lists both) but I can't see anything about screen size.... is there any way of getting this information from the computer itself? (its not written on it anywhere)

Also, what do you think of buying from here? Or is there something else I should buy?:o

    Thanks!

Dismantle cover of the screen and take it off. Then write it down exact model/make and put into website. Voila

Alot easier method is to download Everest. Will give you exact config, specs and serials of screen.

There's probably a sticker on the underside of the laptop that lists it along with a serial number. It's probably also listed in the BIOS.

Since everest is no longer free try something like

    http://www.gtopala.com/
    http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

These are free system information programs that will give you exact size, make, model of the screen and other hardware

    Hi
I had to replace the screen on a laptop a while ago and I used a company based in longford (link below) ...most helpful perhaps you could contact them and they could advise on what's suitable they may also work out a bit cheaper than Ebay when you consider shipping ect.I'm not associated with the company just a satisfied customer trying to keep the cash in Ireland....:D
