Mens Non See-Through White Shirts

    Hi,

I'm hoping some of the good people in F&A might be able to point me in the right direction, please.

I'm getting married in October and we have the suits organised. However, everywhere we went they only have ****e really light shirts. For a hundred different reasons I wouldn't be able to relax wearing a shirt that was almost see through. I know I'll be wearing jacket and waistcoat for most of the day but once the band kick off they'll be off.

I'm looking for a thick 100% cotton shirt either a wing collar or spread collar. Not that particular about the collars.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Mr. Edge.

I have a couple of M&S 100% cotton, white, double cuff shirts with a reasonably spread collar.

They were about 40E each and are definitely not see through!

Normally when I wear a shirt, I wear an undershirt (white t-shirt), to avoid any sweat patches. problem then is you can get lines where the sleeve ends.

    Options...

    a) a thin undershirt. The best in Dublin right now IMO is the modal stuff from M&S.

    b) if you don't like an undershirt then something in a royal oxford would do the job. Click through to see an example of this type of cloth (zoom in for a proper look) http://www.tmlewin.co.uk/Product.aspx/!31272
