A&K M249 Battery Question

Hey all I have as the above says, an A&K M249 and I am running a 9.6 1500mAH and am getting around 1000rpm. I was wondering can someone suggest what the best battery for power consumption/RPM would be and also a battery that would not blow out the motor. Thanks in advance.
