Info about iphone on vodafone in kilkenny on fri

    Wondering is there any information on the iPhone release on Friday for Kilkenny with Vodafone. Has anyone heard of pre-order lists, what levels of stock might be available and is there realistically any point in travelling there (Kilkenny being the nearest store to me) on Friday morning if there's only going to be a handful of handsets?
    Also if all iPhones are gone Friday, will it be possible to order there and then and be contacted once the handset is in stock perhaps and if so how long might it be before more arrive?
    My reason for choosing Vodafone is that o2's reception in my area (Thomastown, Kilkenny) seems to be terrible (many friends on o2 find it unusable) and I'll also benefit from free vf to vf calls and texts, although advice with regard to this is welcome...
