    Hello there,
does anyone know what company is doing the repairs for LG washing machines? I've been ringing company after company and being sent all over the place without any success,if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.
    Thanks alot.

Thanks knighted, but we've even rang LG,and as they are based in the UK,the operators haven't a clue. They sent me to Craigavon, who I said only do tv's,but was assured they do their washing machines. Upon ringing Craigavon I was told that,no,they don't do their washing machines. They haven't a notion over there what's going on.

is it a warrenty issue or is it a repair that you want ? most service engineers can repair any machine but not under warrenty

It's a repair but it's under warranty. There's also a 10 year warranty on the LG motor in the machine,2 year p&l on the appliance as a whole.

Are you based near Dublin. As G.Man said, he is based in Dublin and is an agent for LG.

If you are not near Dublin then just ring KAL and ask them who stocks them in your area. From there you should find a service engineer.

contract of sale is with the retailer ,so if they cant supply you with the repair via the distributor or service agent ,its thier baby -they must refund you or replace the machine
retailer must ensure that you can get your machine serviced or repaired,at your cost ,after the warrenty expires up to year six of machines life, and that spare parts are available for same (not a lot of people know this )

are you asking from the retailers or customers point of view ?

It's my own machine, bought it in the shop I work in. Don't sell much LG,it was the only one we got in.
