iphone help

    Hi Guys,

    Gonna do my best to get iphone 4 on friday. Now i'm comin from yrs with nokias so is there any hint or tips to help me out when i get it.

    Also is it true iphone doesnt do delivery reports?

    Can i keep my number when switching to a micro sim?

    Can iphone 4 be jail broken yet?

    My main worry is though how can i get my contacts and pictures and videos onto the iphone as bluetooth on iphone doesnt have file transfer or does the new one allow this.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    1-no it doesnt do reports, but i think some networks can provide them by typing R before the text, ive gotten used to not having them by now.

    2-yes, all your doing is a sim transfer, you can keep your existing price plan or PAYG number/

    3-its not the phone that cant be jailbroken, but the software. currently 4.0.1 cant be jailbroken AFAIK

    4-you can sync your contact with your outlook or yahoo in my case then just sync them to the iPhone through iTunes. pictures and videos should be uploaded to your PC then put into iTunes, then sync iTunes to your iPhone and you will have everything (providing formats work etc)

    does it have to be outlook theres no way to get the .vcf files from nokia pc suite sync'd to itunes?

    im not 100% on that tbh.
    i simply put my sim card into my 3Gs and imported the sim contacts then sync'd them to my iPhone 4.

    you can get reports with meteor by typing *R* followed by your text, no space needed and you will get a message saying it was delivered
