    Hi All,
Just looking for general feedback on whether you guys think there would be demand for a good Stereophonics Tribute band in Ireland? There are one or two on the go in the UK. Seems to be increased demand for tribute acts in general these days? So could you see this band getting many gigs?

Also, how much are these tribute bands charging venues? Same as a regular cover band?

    Thanks

Hey stephen. As a huge stereophonics fan this is something i'd love to see happen in dublin. Their still a fan favourite over here so i reckon there would be a demand. Personally i've never been in a tribute act as i'm in an originals band, but i reckon you could charge as much, if not more as a regular cover band depending on the crowd you pull. Anyway if your getting this thing going i'd love to play bass for it. What kind of set would you be going with? Personally i think the first four albums were great, anything after that was hit and miss.

    Hi,
Thanks for the post. I agree. first few albums are great. If you saw them at T In the Park recently I'd be after that setlist.. the current 'greatest hits' kind of setlist. If I'm making a move on it I'll defo let you know, I would be doing it all or nothing if I did so you'd have to be fairly availalbe & there'd hopefully be travel etc involved around the country once the gigs started up.

I didn't see that gig but i know the set your talking about. I agree with you on using that one, all the classics. Yeah sure let me know when/if your setting it up.
