Any recommendations for a good screwdriver set that can be used to open up laptops? Ones I have not so good anymore!

    Cheers folks!

We currently have a 19pc precission set for 22.25. Ideal for laptops and desktops. Delivery is also free too :) If you want one a bit quicker, i know Woodies out on the cork road will have them too, same with pretty much any hardware store.

Any idea what type of heads are on those? I'm looking for those star headed ones mainly.

You from Waterford, Ryan, or just looked up the location of my nearest Woodies? :P

The star headed ones are called Torx Keys IIRC. I picked a set up in woodies a couple of years ago less than a tenner - should be readily available in any hardware shop

I have this and I swear by it. Had it for about 2 years-ish and still holding up strong. It has the Torx screws you require. Only thing is they arent full size heads so you cant get replacements for them, but the case is fairly solid and I some how have managed to hold onto all so far!

Yep, they are TorX, Auto parts shops have them too, probably cheaper to get them in a hardware shop though
