Club jerseys

    Hi all,

After doing my first group cycle the other day and seeing the vast array of club kits on show I'm just wondering what people's favourites are.

I have to say, I really liked the Blanchardstown Wheelers one. It's very BMC, pretty cool. It'd near make me join that club just to get one and its about 60km away from me. The Chain Gang kit was also pretty nice.

Sorry in advance if it's a thread that's already been done.

    Blanchardstown Wheelers?

Nearly sure that's what the name said, obviously totally wrong though. I'll try googling it. It's a deep blood red primarily with black. A massive "giveblood.ie" across the middle of the back.

Have to say I liked the boards kit that I saw over the weekend and that I'll be collecting tonight. I like the Sky kit too.

I'm not flamboyant or "fruity", so dark colours appeal to me. :p

I like that Sky kit as well. Obviously apart from the big white square on the back. Looks like it wants a name and number ala football jerseys.

    Never heard of it ...

Damn, I was hoping someone on here would know who they were. I swear I wasn't hallucinating that much:D. Looks like I'm gonna have to sign up to more of these kinds of things to see if I can spot that kit again.

You defo weren't hallucinating as I was chatting to a few of these lads yesterday. A very nice bunch that have only been going for a month or 2. Agree with the comment about the jersey : very nice.

Their jersey is very nice. I noticed they have a page on facebook, and are actually called Blanch Wheelies. You can see their gear there.

Prize for the first person in a new boards jersey to get photographed attached to a blood bag?

Interesting with a cycle club right near me. I might actually get in touch with those blokes once I reach a decent fitness level - atm I'm struggling at 30km trips :P

Does it count if we're donating (and no, not donating my own blood to myself..)? :P If so, that arranged can be.

Now to get my hands on a boards jersey.. >_>

My missus has no idea what my club is called. But every weekend she'll say are you going out with the "wheelies" tomorrow with a big sarky grin on her face.

At first glance I read that jersey as saying "givebloodie" - give bloody what, I wonder? ...Give [me] bloody glasses, probably.
