Please Recommend me a radio!

    Ok can someone Recommend me a radio that can get Airport, emergency services , gardai ambulance etc. Please help lol im stuck and i dunno which one to get!.

    I'm sure there are others who can give better advice for the Irish market.

    i can spend maybe 100 or less there some radios there such as GRE PSR-282 which is 84.99 and other ones any recomendations?

    Wait until this evening as I am sure there are others who can give better advise. Maybe the Mods may give some info on listening in on the Gardai. It maybe something you may get a serious slap on the wrist for.

    Hopefully someone can give a performance check on the GRE PSR-282

    Dont worry about listening into the Gardai anymore as you cant, they have a new digital radio system which is scrambled

    yeh i heard that dam it lol there is still areas around the country where the gardai still use old UHF but unfortunley the digital is coming to most areas now

    not always true even thought they are on digital if you get the right scanner you can. anyway moving on Talking about using a scanner for illegal actions IE. listening to the gards is a no no.

    Very true lol. the scanner im using at the moment is the GRE PSR-282 great scanner imo and now that im in galway for another few weeks with work related poo i can listen to the oceanic freqs. woohoo dont get that in dublin
    :(
