..increase the rate at which hair loss/ hair thinning/ baldness occurs?

sorry if this is in the wrong place, don't know where to put it.

I'm convinced it does, I mean how could it not? All that pulling and dragging of it can't be good for it. When I was in Junior Cert, I started washing my hair everyday and it became so thin. It still hasn't recovered. Also, travellers have really thick hair and apparently they don't wash it all. They also have colour in their hair when they should be long gone gray and I don't think they dye it at all!

On the plus side you are massaging your scalp which, one imagines, is benifical to your hair health.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

    I would think so.

Use a dry shampoo to stop washing it so much

It also puffs up the hair making it look thicker!

Depends on the shampoo you use.

Most shampoos contain silicone as an ingredient but some have more than others, silicone can block the pores and cause hair loss!

As OldGoat said massaging the scalp when washing will help with hair growth!

I wash my hair every single day, if not twice and have done so for years and no, it doesn't seem to have had any effect on my hair in so far as thinning goes. It was always rather fine, but this definitely has not gotten any worse.

I have to wash my hair every day, it's always been very fine but it's still the same. It also grows at an incredible rate
