    I'd be interested to hear how the official opening day went in Cobh today. I was hoping to attend but work got in the way! Also, is it true that the Cobh club club pro has gone to Monkstown GC?

    Just back from the opening. Great day and there's a real buzz about the place. Morgan o'donovan won the golf after Shane put 2 balls in the water at the 10th he won't forget that hole in a hurry. I can also state for the record Conno that Shane is a real gentleman staying behind long after he was supposed to leave to make sure everyone who wanted an autograph or photo got one. Murphdog that is correct. You can't really blame the guy. It's definetly a step forward for his career.
