    Hi all,

As the title suggests I am a female looking to take up muay thai.

I'm based in North Dublin City, but could travel (anywhere easily accesable from city centre really) I'm also on quite a tight budget, being the poor student that I am.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for a gym? I'm a total beginner, although I did a small amount of kickboxing when I was younger.

Any help at all would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance (hopefully :p)

Bridgestone is in Arbour hill/Stoneybatter which is very close to the city centre.

I think Khannie, who posts here, trains there and there is also a ladies only class. Good luck and enjoy it.

Edit to add: Found it. Ladies only class. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055913608

Bridgestone's probably what you're looking for. It's near Smithfield. There's a map here. 7 euro a class. Beginners classes are held Monday to Thursday 7-8.15pm and there's a ladies only class on Mondays from 6-7 (Ladies do also train in the 7-8.15 pm class too of course :)).

Depending on how far north you are, Dublin Thai Boxing or Informed Performance may also suit you.
