    Everyone seems to going into self sufficiency these days, Is it a dying fad or think its only beginning?:rolleyes:

    Okay i suppose detail is needed;

    The reason i asked this question is because I've a small manufacturing setup at home, In which I'm make bird houses and flower boxes etc. I'm thinking about producing raised beds i think i can do them far cheaper than being sold atm. Do you think that market is over saturated at the moment or is there still room there?

    Sorry for any confusion.

    I reckon there is a big growth market in a home vegetable patch all in one solution.

    Wasn't this on RTE 1 just last week? Two guys were selling raised flower/vegetable beds? It seemed to be a cracking idea, but in Ireland there wasn't a huge market for their stuff.

    Yup but the problem was for them that they specialized only in raised beds.
