B52 Bombers flying past bray tomarrow.

I heard from a reliable sourse that two B52 Bombers will be doing a flypast at the Bray Airshow tomarrow.

Awesome aircraft to look. Not sure if this is a propaganda mission from the USAF but ill will definitally be there with my camera out.

I saw them on training missions at Darwin Airport in the 1980's

Is it just Bray they are flying over or are they actually coming from somewhere?

I saw a B52 in Farnborough Airshow today. Did a take off and fly by. Magnificent plane! If my home was going to be bombed it would be an honour if it was the B52 doing it. Bray, I hope you get this honour.

Yes except the real deal, she has been and gone, routed thru London Mil onto Dublin ATC from an Airshow in Sunderland in the UK, B-52H "Skull20" did one flyby and was handed over to Scottish Mil and is now en route back to America.

Why? She is a sub-sonic Aircraft, nothing like a B1 bomber or Fighter like the F22 or F15/16 etc that can and do go Supersonic.

We used to live in England, and our windows didn't like it when they flew over. They didn't need to be beyond Mach 1 to make a hell of a row.

Seen the entire show. A single B52, at about 600 feet altitude, but a good distance out from the beach. Not all that impressive to be honest. They look much better when you get up close to them when parked.

The helicopter displays where really good though. Some nice 'stunts', and really showed off what these amazing machines can do.

The Red Bull Matator display team pulled off a great finale. Excellent planes and seriously cool stunts (peforming stunts whilst flying 10-15 feet from each other). They ended the show by 'drawing' a perfect heart shape in the sky with smoke.

Oh and Eddie Goggins is worth a mention due to some great tricks too.

DUB ATC Cleared her down to 2,000ft and told him he was allowed to use his own navigation as requested, I wasnt there but "LA" was a static at RIAT last week, i got a shot of her noseart on the port side:cool:

And just for the record I regularly attened the seafront in Bray but other than that it is a dump.
