C180 + SRS warning light ??

    Hi
    I have a 2007 Mercedes C180 and lately (last 2 weeks) the SRS warning light has come on a few times but always gone out after a few mins or once stayed on but when stopped and restarted engine it was gone again.
    I know its to do with seat belts and airbags system but should i worry about it unless it starts staying all the time .
    Could it be just a faulty sensor ?
    Is it expensive to get repaired ?
    has anyone got this fault on the same car ?

    the airbag system in a 2007 c class is far from simple, both fron and back seatbelts are linked into the system as are the front headrests, none of the airbags or seat belts will work if the light is on, must/all main dealers are having a had time at the moment staying afloat, go talk to yours straight away, they might even sort it for free as its only a small prob and your car maybe still under warranty.
    you paid for those airbags, no point in having them if they dont work, you could look like this guy:eek: for a split second in a smash.
