Moving iPad from differnt pc's

    folks,

    Just bought an ipad 32gb wifi + 3g for the CFO at work. If I know him we will end up moving the sync pc to different pc's over time. Isn't there a lmit of 5 pc's for authorisation on Itunes? He doesn't have an account setup yet but will on monday.

    Yes but there is a de-authorise facility to delete redundant PCs as well.

    Yup, 5 computers limit but you can deactivate one and then just activate another

    Thanks folks, that good to know. The 5 computers can include iPad, iPhone and iPod against the one iTunes account? Although I will setup an iTunes from Ireland can I choose location USA so CFO can buy movies from iTunes US?

    My understanding is that an iTunes account is tied to a geographic store, the location given when the account is being set up. It's quite a while now since I set mine up, but I know I had difficulty accessing material in the US store from an "Irish" account, for example.

    This restriction is not just a foible of Apple's but was insisted on by the copyright owners who agreed the distribution licences with Apple. These agreements are on a geography by geography basis.
