The combover - a sign of a man who doesn't care, or a man who won't let go

So, the combover. Often ridiculed, never equalled.

    The-ultimate-comb-over-1464.jpg.

Is it the sign of a man who refuses to accept what he is - older, unsexy and balding.

Or, I put it to the masses that the combover is a notice of intent. From a man who does not care for trends and modern fashions and who strives to be an individual.

So, what say you - the combover, yay or nay?

I associate comb overs with stressed out middle aged men who drive Primeras.
Baldness is a sign of a man who enjoys plenty of eating and drinking, and could be a van driver. I know who's cooler.

Yes, I am continually told bald men are sexy.

Hence why I am working towards that particular goal.

But in the interim, I believe I may have an opportunity to have me a combover. So I am trying to get a handle on just how much the womenfolk love it.

I saw Ryan Stiles recently on Reno 911! Utterly hilarious.

Although, he is the best evar on Two and a Half Men.

    And he doesn't have a combover. :(

Brother Tom, could I ask what the real purpose of this thread is? You know in your heart of hearts that the combover is an abomination and can never look good, so why persist in the charade that the wimmins may find it attractive? Besides, do you really want to end up looking like Bobby Charlton?

Guy in work had such a comb over, but very little hair remaining to comb it over to.
Two thin lines of residual hair on the left and right and an even number of strands bridging the gap, yes there were so few strands left you could nearly count them!
And to cap it all, his vanity or missus may have been responsible, he had it coloured what could only be described as a "plum" colour, not sure what Nice'nEasy number it is.

As Harry Enfield would say, "Oi, plum coloured comb over! NOOOOO!"
