Yes - I dealt with Henry who was top class.
I was referred there by my club pro for a fitting.
There was no sales aspect to it so I got independent advice - given that the use Titleist and Cobra equipment.

He spent a lot of time on the driver as I was about to change it.
Irons - he put me on the machine and gave me typical yardages that I was hitting them.
Wedges - Again - got feedback on them.

You will see information about swing and ball speed, Launch angle and spin rates.

I wouldn't change my driver or irons without going back for a fitting as its well worth the trip.

I too got it done in Carton. It's great for 50 quid.

This may be a silly question, but say you do a fitting session, do they give you a print out of settings for each club that you could use in buying clubs elsewhere?

Pretty sure you can't buy from Titleist in Carton, they don't do sales, so you'll get the specs.

+1 on the service out in Carton though, Henry is a top bloke and really knows his stuff. Couldn't be more helpful, even when the machine is telling you you don't hit it nearly as far as you think !:D

Specs will go to Carton if you book through them so book through your pro.

Have to agree with all above. Henry knows his stuff and is very professional in his approach. Got fitted for a set of AP2s there earlier this year aswell as three vokey wedges. Dont know about the fifty quid charge quoted above...I paid thirty in American Golf. Maybe its different if you book direct with Carton. Just to say they use Pro V1s for the fitting which I thought was class.

    Hi Guys,

Well went up to carton a few weeks ago and had a custom fit done.I can honestly say that i was well impressed with it.Henry is a top bloke and very helpful. The best driver i hit was a 909d2 9.5 with a voodoo shaft.Hitting it about 282 yards. Then we went on to the irons and ended up with ap1 with 2 degree upright.Even brought some scottys out to the putting green to try out.Ordered them last week and hoping to get them this week or next.Great expierience.

Is there any point in a hacker getting a fitting like this or is it only worthwhile for single-digit handicappers?

Just wondering if anyone has had a fitting for just a driver out in Carton and what it entails?

Have to say that i would recommend henry as i got fitted for new irons earlier this year and they have made a big difference to my game. the service was very professional and he looked at everything possible to help my game.
