    all,

got a very small leak in an artic shovel transmission due to old age in a seal or maybe its a gasket, lots of ripping would need to happen to replace the seal

being doing some googling and see products like this the equivalent of radweld for oil

    http://www.amazon.com/Lucas-10278-En...=pd_sim_auto_6

anyone ever used anything like this?
    was it successful...

oil is light oil 5w-30 or 10w-30 SUTO

any oil will do this transmission its a clark 18000 as used on volvo L30 or the old JCB farm masters the 410s 410M, the ones with the cab attached to the frount rather than the rear

that lucas stuff works by swelling the seal a small bit to help it seal,it wont work on paper gaskets or anything like that but its worth a try anyhow and no it wont block ur filters or damage any other part of the system....

You could use a slightly thicker oil aswell (more viscous).
