    Hi all,

So was in halfords in saturday and saw halfords has buy 1 get 1 free on cleaning stuff. Thought i'd try out a new wax as my meguiar nxt 2.0 was nearly gone. I saw this stuff and had read the good reviews about it on the net. Anyway, i bought it and thought it was great stuff. It left a great shine and was so simple to apply and remove. 5 days later and the shine is still there and i've found the beading to be excellent.

Anyway, my question is, is this not more of a polish as it is very liquidy when applying to paintwork. I've been looking into it and it seems there are ongoing disputes online about whether it is a wax or a polish. Turtlewax seem to claim it is both a wax and polish in one. I'm wondering if it adding any sort of protection to my paintwork. Do you think i should be using something alongside it or would this defeat the purpose?

Whatever it is, i think the shine of it is great and long lasting so far. I was also impressed by nxt 2.0 but found the white residue annoying and the shine although great at first, it didn't last.

I must try it, says it leaves no white residue and can used on rubber seals, plastic trim, door handles and headlights, without leaving a white residue. Good price too with buy one get one free.

I bought 'Ice' a few weeks ago in Halfords and used it on my car.

It is really easy to apply and doesnt leave a residue. It's beading is 'ok' IMO. I used to work as a panel beater and have used all sorts of waxes and polishes over the years...I would give it a 6/10 for protection of the paintwork and quality of beading.
