Advice on Desktop Speakers

Hallo all,

I was hoping someone could offer me some advice on desktop speakers. I'm looking for ones without a subwoofer, max budget say €100.

Anything as good as my old Altec Lansing A1768s would be perfect. I'd usually research this myself but a lot of people that rate speakers online are a bit crazy and demand a mindblowing audio experience every time they boot up their PC. Something a bit more modest would do me.

Personally I love logitech speakers. For something at home, good sound, low price, they do a good job. I had the Z-4 speakers for three years straight and they're still going. They're a pretty good price too.

The Creative Gigaworks T40 Series 2 get a lot of good reviews. Amazon do them for £80 - not sure about delivery costs:

If you google for it, you might find a group test of 2.0 speaker systems that includes the speakers you are interested in.
