Just wondering whether anyone has used this website to purchase clubs and, if so, what their experiences have been. Seems to be a pretty legitimate site and offers an excellent selection of clubs but it's always nice to have peace of mind when buying online.

Also, as someone hoping to take up golf seriously over the coming months, I would appreciate any recommendations regarding suitable second-hand clubs within a €200-300 price range. In terms of my ability, I'm more or less a beginner at present!

    Many thanks,

    P

I had looked through adverts for second hand clubs but couldnt find anything I liked...

golfbidder is outstanding. i ordered clubs on a wednesday and had them on friday morning. and the condition was outstanding, much better than the rating they had been given on the site

The quality is always great with them but they maybe a bit more expensive than ebay but you are always guaranteed it is not a fake.

I have used them on several occassions and the service, quality and price are always excellent. I've bought clubs, balls and various accessories and although they're a bit more expensive than e-bay, it's worth paying a wee bit extra for the peace of mind that they give you.

In terms of what you're after, I'd say that any 3-5 year old model of a cavity-backed club will be suitable (look under clubs for high-handicappers). Also, anything of 6 or above in condition is generally fine.

Golfbidder are very good. If you are not happy with the clubs, you can return them or exchange them with no quibbles within 8 days. I agree that there rating system is conservative as items rated 7 are in excellent condition.
