    Hi
I am new to Boards.ie and I am looking for a potters wheel. I am looking for an electric potters wheel, but if anyone has a kick wheel for sale then I may be interested in purchasing that as well. I can afford approx 350.00 euros and will come to collect it anywhere in country (within reason). Thank you and looking forward to hearing some good news.

Where are you based? I may be able to help you on this one.
I have a fairly old manual kickwheel one, its all there and rotates and so on but hasn't been used in some time (years!). It will certainly need some TLC, basically a lick of paint on the metal surfaces but should be fine with a little effort. I don't find the time to use it anymore and would rather it went to someone who would.
So if you can make arrangements to collect it, I reckon I can fit it into your budget- you can have free of charge!
If your interested drop me a PM and we can take it from there.

    Hi
I am living in Co. Waterford, I am delighted to hear you have a kick wheel that you are willing to give away, I would be delighted to give it a good home if your happy to let it go. I can arrange to get it collected from Dublin. Thank you very much and I will wait to hear from you.
    Regards

Glad to hear it! if its of any use to you, your'e more than welcome to it.
I'll PM you a photo or two and give you the dimensions of it shortly, I reckon it should fit in an average sized car.
When you get the PM contact me to sort the logistics.
    Regards Judas

Thanks for your message, I have also put wheel on advert.ie and there are a few photos so have a look.

It is approximately 25 years old but hasn't been used much since I bought it about 20 years ago. Turned it on last week and it is working fine. Your very welcome to come and see it/try it out(bring your own clay!).

There are also accessories with the wheel.

When you see it on advert.ie, the asking price is £200 ono, however all offers considered as previously stated.

    Hi
I went into Adverts.ie and saw the wheel, its looks good, i will give you 180.00 for it and drive to Dublin to collect it if you agree. Not sure how much it would cost for a courier from Dublin to Waterford. will wait for you to get back to me.

I'd say post that reply on the thread where the wheel is for sale - be your best bet! The login is the same for adverts.ie and boards.ie so you don't have to re-register or anything like that :)

    Hi Laurannoco,

Did you see private message I sent you yesterday?

Please let me know if you still want to buy pottery wheel a.s.a.p.

    Hi
Apologies but close relative passed away yesterday and will not be able to get back to you for few days, if you have found another person to buy the wheel, then go ahead, if not I will get back to you in a few days when things have calmed down a bit, so sorry for inconvenience.
    kind regards

Hi i'm also new to boards.ie, i'm wondering how much an electric pottery wheel would be second hand? Hopefully somewhere under 200 euro? Purely for a hobby i've been interested in the past year. If anyone can help me out that would be appreciated!
    Thanks
