    Hey guys,

Does anyone know the French rail system? Could I walk into a station in Brittany and buy a ticket from Montpellier to Cherbourg? I want to buy it before I reach Montpellier. i couldnt buy it online as my card was full.

    Thanks.

If not at a machine, you can certainly do it at a ticket desk.

You'll be able to do it from any of the machines also.

Before you leave you can book a ticket and pick it up at a station of your choice afterwards. You pay the price at the time of booking and not at the time of collecting. I think the booing is valid for about 14 days.
