Hey guys, just having a few problems with my laptop recently after a malware/rogue software attacked it. I forgot what the name of the program is (doctor something?) but after the attack my computer takes longer than usual when I turn it on to connect to the internet via wifi, AOSS (about ~5 minutes prior to the attack, ~30 mins-1hr after the attack?). I was able to remove the program using Malwarebytes. Is there any way I can make it go fast again? :(

I had a similar problem - got someone round to fix it for me, not sure what they did. they used a few system tools I havent seen before. Quite cheap as well. PM if you want their contact details.

I'm going to start banning for people pimping their services. This is an online help board, not a place to advertise your business.

OP, can you try following the stick at the head of the forum and post the results?

It was Malwarebytes all along! It was really helpful with taking out the malware but it caused the random internet disconnections. I uninstalled it and now internet works as per normal. Thanks for the suggestions guys!:D
