Just wondering is there any advantage to putting 25mm insulated slabs on the metal suspended ceiling underneath hollowcore slabs?? Or is this ever done?? Is there heatloss out into the cavity where the hollowcore slabs meet the wall? Thanks for the help..

I'll be doing this job in the next couple months and I intend putting rockwool insulation between the (ordinary) slab and the hollowcore.

Better to put extra insulation in the walls, floor or roof or spend the money on better windows.
