    Just on the Mercury thing.

    Who picks the winner? Is it like our own meteors where the public have a say?

    I wouldn't put much faith in a contest that shortlists someone who has zero chance of winning....especially when that someone is Paul Weller.

    This is why I think modern music culture is toss.

    True, but it's all about the BIZ and shifting those units.

    :) I just don't think new bands should get preferential treatment because they're new bands. Or else spin them off into their own little contest.
