Has anyone a link or state the prices that the different outlets will be selling the ipads for on launch date. Also any indication if the stack levels will be enough to satisfy demand for the first load of people looking for the device.

I am thinking the 32gb version is the one to go for.

    Thanks for any info given

    Cionn

    Prices are as follows:

    €499 inc VAT (€412.40 ex VAT) for 16GB, Wi-Fi
    €599 inc VAT (€495.04 ex VAT) for 32GB, Wi-Fi
    €699 inc VAT (€577.69 ex VAT) for 64GB, Wi-Fi
    €599 inc VAT (€495.04 ex VAT) for 16GB, Wi-Fi + 3G
    €699 inc VAT (€577.69 ex VAT) for 32GB, Wi-Fi + 3G
    €799 inc VAT (€660.33 ex VAT) for 64GB, Wi-Fi + 3G

Apple keep tight control of prices, so they should be the same everywhere. If they aren't, you are being ripped off.

As for the stock, who knows, but it's unlikely to be enough.

Apple may not be ripping the republic but someone is. I got a 32gb up north for €505, it €599 down here.

Anyone thinking of buying it should. It is worth it.

Where did you get it? The 32GB Wi-Fi is £499 in the UK. That converts to €592.
