    Hi Guys

I'm Looking for a 2 night romantic getaway for the August bank holiday weekend. Probably in Ireland but would consider going afar! Don’t want anything too expensive but a Spa would be good. Any thoughts or Ideas? anybody know of good deals and availability>

The Lyrath in Kilkenny is a lovely hotel. They have a spa but I haven't used it but I'm sure it'll be good, judging from the rest of the hotel. If you can, try & get an Executive Room, they're worth it imo.

Another place I stayed that was good is Monart in Wexford but the prices for the August weekend are a bit much. We stayed on a Sunday night a couple of weeks ago & it was reasonable enough.

Monart is more like a spa where you stay the night, rather than a hotel with a spa. There is a bar & restaurant and the rooms are nice but there's a kind of weird relaxed vibe around the place. Loads of people are walking around in their robes & slippers. Even at breakfast, nearly half the people eating were in them. They don't do weddings or business functions & there's no kids allowed either. Everyone is there for the spa. The closest town is Enniscorthy & there's pretty much feck all in there from what I could see, driving through it. But if you're going to stay in the hotel all the time, that's not really a problem.

The Lyrath has 2 bars & 2 restaurants and one of the bars serves food. Kilkenny is bigger/better than Enniscorthy too, so you'd have more choices of things to do there.

Come in Italy, the most romantic of the world :)
If you are looking for a romantic and economic package I suggest you look at this site www.cheap-tuscany.com
You can fly low cost flights to Pisa with Ryanair and then you can request a transference to reach the apartments and tour indicated.
