a rare sight all right it looks savable but i suppose it depends how much rust is hiding and remember thats the asking price not the what it sells for

It's the plate that's worth the money.

yeah i know and having something on original old style irish plates is a whole lot nicer than the alternative as long as the car is authentic

It's done pretty well too to survive the mid 90's scrappage scheme and the general structural rust associated with Japanese cars of that era.

is it not a bit strange that he took three photos of the drivers side one incorporating the front of the car and none of the passengers side or back its not like there was something in the way , if he only photoed the good parts he will be lucky to get rid of it at all

Its a gt celica very rare car so would be worth about €800 to €1000 in that condition imo

    526HIF is a 1979 reg.

That rear quarter looks very ropey...

Rare or not,if its a wreck its not worth that cash. A few of these got raced in Rosegreen in Demoliton derbys years ago. Lads would drive them to the track, then kick/smash out the windows and wreck them.:(

I actually saw it in the dreamer's thread on the motor section and they're right, it is crazily priced.
